Centre for New Technologies
Explore the nano cosmos.
The New Technologies Centre, which opened in 2009, represents one of the first major achievements of the Future Initiative. The 2,400 square metres hall, which once housed the railway exhibition, is now an interdisciplinary, interactive research platform focusing on nano- and biotechnology: In science shows, demonstrators present the bizarre and paradoxical behaviour of the nanocosmos. In the laboratories you can explore DNA for yourself or look over the shoulder of young nanotechnology researchers at work.
