1000000 volts, 1000 amps and one unforgettable experience.
The sparks fly three times a day! Lightning flashes, rollovers and fearless demonstrators in the Faraday cage: The high voltage demonstrations are a perennial hit with our visitors. The Electric Power section shows how electric energy is produced, converted for use by consumers and distributed. The two rooms present historical exhibits from the three areas of electrical engineering, electrical equipment and high-voltage technology. Electric Power with the high voltage demonstration, physics, liquid nitrogen, musical automata and paper making: During the modernisation project, at least half of the exhibitions will always be open, and the more than 30 tours and demonstrations offered every day will continue to make a visit to the Deutsches Museum a spectacular experience offering plenty of variety no matter what your interests.
