Clear the stage for the midgets

The Microscopy Theater is reopened.

Clear the stage for waterbears, radiolaria & Co.! The microscopy theater has returned into our regular programme. Due to the modernisation the electron microscope had to be moved from the physics department to the centre for new technologies. Actually you can now even experience a new device at the new location. The ZEISS EVO MA15 is provided with detectors for better contrast, contours and for very sensitive or moist samples. They support visualizing for example the skeletons of protozoas, the heads of leather bugs and even the hair on the feet of those tiny animals. Enjoy the amazing demonstrations twice a day.
